Mr. Rahul Banerjee

He is a finance professional, with around 20 years of experience in the industry, having worked for banks and NBFCs, primarily in the retail field.  After Graduating from the University of Calcutta in Commerce, Mr. Banerjee Joined UTI Bank Ltd. (Later renamed as Axis Bank) in October 2005.  He spent around 7 years with UTI Bank Ltd., gaining considerable experience in retail asset operations. After UTI Bank Ltd., Mr. Banerjee joined the Chennai-based Shriram Group, selected to be the part of newly promoted housing finance arm of the group in February 2012. With his vast experience, he was part of the Central Business Development Team and contributed set up of branches in Tier I, II and III cities. At later stage, he became the head of operations in Eastern India based at Kolkata. In later stage in 2016, Mr. Banerjee was promoted and transferred to Mumbai to lead the team for high-value structured deals.

After 7 years with Shriram Housing Finance Ltd., Mr. Banerjee joined the Chennai-based Repco Home Finance Ltd., selected to head the Ahmedabad region for three states Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Mr. Banerjee made a substantial growth in the region within 3 years. Mr. Banerjee, with a strong family background and social roots in Kolkata, lives in Mumbai with his wife who is presently associated with Axis Bank Ltd.
